Donating YT 14K Club Member | With this litter of pups that I have, I was feeding them Chicken Soup for Puppies. Runniest poop that I've EVER had in my house. I thought they had coccidia. Took them in for testing...NOTHING showed up. Switched their food to Royal Canin Puppy Small Bites and we've got firm, perfect poop. I will NEVER feed the CS for Puppies again!!!!!

| Confusing at best. Seems one food is good then WHAM, its killing them. Go to another then back full circle. I have my puppy on Purina Pro but it has corn gluten in it and my puppy scratches. Looking at Royal Carin or Candaie (wish they sold it at Petsmart). Nutro for puppy lamb and rice also seems like a good by but I dont think the puppy formual is restricted enough.

| When I looked at the ingrediants for Royal Canin and Purina Pro Plan for puppies, they both have corn gluten meal. The only brand I see that is reasonable priced is Canidae (no corn at all). I might as well stay on Pro Plan for now until I can find someone who has the puppy formula for Canidae.

Canidae doesn't have a "puppy" formula. All of their varieties are "All Life Stages," which means you can feed it to a puppy, an adult, or a senior dog. I'm feeding Canidae to my puppy as well as my 2 adults. | |

| I just started on a case of Canidae canned food from petfooddirect.com. I have been feeding Chicken soup kibble and will finish that but will be switching to all Canidae kibble as well. The reason is the "all life stages" benefit. I have 4 dogs -- two puppies, a teen, and a senior. So, I need something they can all eat. I am done trying to keep them to their own bowls! I could not find the Canidae locally but found a good price online -- in fact, they will even do auto-ship if you want. As soon as I see how much they are going to go through, I may do that.
