| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. The flea preventatives on your dog should stop the reproductive cycle of the fleas. Also, clean your home thoroughly. Vacuum everything possible daily. Car too if your pup rides in the car. Wash bedding and everything else that can be washed often. I'm not familiar with the names you indicated. Are those preventatives or meds? My Teddy is highly allergic to fleas and all it takes is one to cause a whole lot of trouble. We have a spray medicine that helps soothe his skin and stop the itching. I hope your little guy can get some relief soon.

| Thanks for the reply. I'm in the uk so that might be why you don't recognise the meds. One is to ease the irritation and the other is preventative. I do all the other stuff regularly and have recently moved home but had all furniture steam cleaned including my mattress. Jack seems to attract the horrible little beasts |

| Bravecto is fabulous! I have been using for a year now. My vet uses it on all her dogs, she says it is the gentlest product. my pup is now 11- 12 lbs. and so I hate to jump to the next size which says 11-22 lbs. that is twice as much dosage than what I have been using. He gobbles it up, but I was thinking of cutting in half. Has anyone tried it? Of course they don't want to tell you to do that. I buy it on line for $35 and it is a 3 mth chew tablet. great deal. I also use sentinel for heartworm, other worms and any flea larvae in the house. |
