| no interest in Orijen anymore What do you do about dog that doesn't show interest in his dry food anymore? Should I change his food? I like Orijen, but I don't think he does anymore. I rotate between the 3 flavors and he walks away from all of them. Of course he obviously eats eventually. I walk him miles a day, so I get concerned about not eating enough calories. But on the other hand, if he's hungry enough he'll eat. I feel bad that he doesn't love his food. Should I try something different, or I feed you what I feed you so just suck it up and eat it? He's a big boy. 9.2 pounds. He'll be 1 tomorrow. Oh, and I've never fed him human food and I keep treats to a minimum. (I'm mean, lol) |

| Orijen is not the food it used to be. The company was sold about 4 years ago and is owned by an investment company just trying to make as much money as possible and then sell it. So they took out the meat and put in 5 different kinds of beans so consumers didn't notice. Farmina N&D is much better food. Try that. |

| They're from Pakistan? Is that safe? You know how people say like you shouldn't get food from China. And to stay in America/Canada kind of thing. |

| Mine is so stubborn she will seriously not eat ever if she hates it. I would try Acana I actually prefer it over Orijen but I think they are owned by the same people. Callie loves the duck and pear.

People should avoid Canadian foods. There are no rules, no inspections and there isn't even an number to call if you get bad dog or cat food to report it if your pet gets sick. This is all true and when I read it I found it amazing. | |

| I just went to 2 pet food stores that sell the high quality stuff.... not petsmart or petco kind of places. Neither place heard of it. I gave him Blue Buffalo Wilderness earlier and he ate it quick (I have some leftover). So It's definitely just the Orijen. I swear he gets itchy after eating it. He itches himself on the carpet after eating it. I did an allergy test from the vet (blood test) and they assured me he has no food allergies. Just allergic to trees, weeds, and dust mites. I bought a saliva swab allergy test thing online, you send their hair too. I'm still waiting to receive it in the mail. I know since he's been on Orijen he's been soon soft! And it gets top ratings on dog food advisor. |

| oh, I tried Acana. I transitioned and it just doesn't agree with him. His poops never firmed up. Even with trying pumpkin and Honest Kitchen's perfect form. I've also tried Wellness Core and Formm. He wasn't interested in them either. I don't really want to feed him Blue Buffalo, but if he eats it and likes it.!? My mom feeds her lab the grocery store stuff and sometimes when I'm there I give him 1 kibble. I joke saying he gets McDonalds at my mom's house and loves it and healthy food at my house and hates it. |

| Not the best site, stars mean nothing. It's about the company, quality control and then ingredients. The guy who runs that site is a human dentist......
