| We feed Chip Stella and Chewy's because that's what the breeder started him on- 2 patties per day with kibble mixed in- and a little Trader Joe's organic chicken stock to wet it- I'm wondering if keeping him on chicken is the best way to go- or if we should switch it up with some beef or lamb?

I haven't tried Primal because I home cook but Primal is a very good choice for your furbaby!

I think Chicken is the least fatty for a yorkie. Some dogs don't do well on beef/lamb. Mine threw up after beef so I just feed her chicken.

| I had Gizmo on Stella & Chewy, but after a few months he didn't want it anymore. He really loves Primal freeze dried. I have to split his servings in half and wait about 10 mins because he eats it so fast. I'm afraid he's gonna choke. |

| Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Lamb is one of the foods they recommend for puppies because it is mild and will not upset their tummies

| Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I switch back and forth between Stella and Chewy and Primal . . And I give him 3-4 flavors each. He gets the grouping of primal and when the bags are finished we go to Stella and Chewy grouping. . . It works well for us

| Does anyone use the Primal freeze dried food and if so do you have to give supplements with it? |

| Hi, Primal freeze dried is a balanced raw food so you do not need to supplement...unless you want to. Adding fresh whole foods is always great! They do have raw chubs that are not balanced & is for supplemental feeding only.

| Thank you I have my 2 Yorkies on Fromm but thinking about switching and I have heard a lot of people talking about the Primal freeze dried. So I wasn’t sure if you had to add anything. |

| Yes, I feed Primal. In my opinion, a raw diet is best. |

| Thank you, I did switch both my Yorkies to Primal 2 months ago. They have been getting the freeze dried and raw frozen. They love it so much they whimper while I am getting it ready! I just this week started making some raw meals myself for them and they love that also. I will never go back to kibble after seeing the changes in their energy level, they play a lot more, their coats are shiny, and they poop a lot less and very small with no odour, lol. So much better for them. |

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Just ordered a Pork and found the nuggets were really hard to crumble up. Also found about 8-9 pieces of sharp bone - some as long as almost an inch. Took pictures and sent them to Primal with the info on the bag for them to trace the issue. - I always crumble them up. Had fed Chicken and Duck - this is the last time I will probably buy the Pork.
