| I'm not sure if you were asking me? The diets from PetDiets include a suggestion to cook the meat for safety and digestability but I'm pretty sure that you can use raw meat if you want. I think asking this question should be asked directly to petdiets (or Balance It). I cook all my meats for my dogs.

I found it on the petdiets site, but can't seem to link it so I'm copying and pasting it here, the link was PetDiets - Ask the Veterinary Nutritionist and it was at the bottom of her page #20 (current page 20). This is a prior Q&A Question: "Hello! I am a veterinarian in Calgary, AB Canada. Do your formulation recommendations include the use of raw meat or cooked meat?" Answer: "Can do either ..... We formulate using cooked because there is no significant difference in the final nutrient profile of the diet using cooked or raw meat or eggs. It is simply a food safety issue. After we have formulated the diet and made the recommendation to feed cooked, the owner may do whatever they are going to do."
