| Update on regurg issue Zoey up chucked last night. First time since October first post when she did the night before. She went one week and 5 days without an episode. Isn't that strange?! She just went totally 100% on Evangers yesterday and that was by a tsp. After oh let's see a 2 week transition.i had already started her on it when I found out their ethics behind the name. Just can't find info on thee most highly digestable protein besides chicken . She's been on chicken and turkey all her life and eventually stops eating it.she really likes duck.... Reduced her meals to 3 times a day , 1 1/2 Tab. Each, very few training treats.. I did give her a few tiny pieces of venison we have canned ourselves. No seasoning , the past 2 days for training treat..... Am looking at natures variety instinct canned and wellness. Nv has more single protein choices in staying with the same brand... Since I don't know what made her fall so deathly ill before ( suspecting salmonella from Bravo treats) I am sooooo afraid what to pick next. Due to go to vet wed to have 2 teeth pulled. They said anesthesia would be in and out, quick, not much.... There doesn't seem to be anything in this food to 'make her sick" ....why just once in a while? And always in night. She didn't have her nap. She has a bit of dermatitis going on but vet says to treat it with what I have, goes away... Any suggestions on different food for sensitive stomaches? Protein vs fat ratios are confusing and she is gaining weight on this evangers premium duck and sweet potato!and it's low! |

| I second (or third or fourth, lol) those that are suggesting food intolerance. In the morning, I feed commercially prepared raw. In the evening, I feed Nature's Variety but I rotate with a different protein in each new bag. Chuy threw up one night, about 4 hours after eating and it looked like undigested food. Then he did it again the following two nights. He otherwise acted normal. Then I realized that I he was just fine after eating the raw in the morning, and I had just changed to a bag of salmon when the problem started -- it was the first time I had bought salmon since he had come to live with us. I put him on a different protein in the same brand, and the problem was solved. He simply cannot tolerate salmon.

| Frustrating isn't it? My Ali has some tummy issues so I am never really sure we have solved the problem. One issue is she eats too much too fast it's not unusual for dry food to come back up. Since you are just feeding wet food we tried a couple things that worked. Most canned food is too rich for Ali so we went on the Hill's ID for several months too. She never seemed to have issues while on that. When I tried to take her off of that the only food that worked was the Freshpet roasted chicken in a bag in refrigerator at grocery store. I know, grocery store food? yuk right? Well, do a little research It has very good simple ingredients and it works for her. It's not as messy as canned but it's not as convenient either. You have to use the opened bag in 7 days so I freeze it. I am still working on finding a dry food. Right now we are trying Fromm but she upchucks that occasionally. ugh Ali couldn't eat Wellness canned, lots of night vomits. It's great food, just not for Ali. If you find something that works you can make treats out of canned food. Someone posted how to do it on here. Freshpet comes in soft bite size pieces so that is what Ali gets as a treat. The bite size is large for some little Yorkies but they eat such a small amount, not that hard to cut pieces smaller. Good luck |

Is Pepcid a liquid? Not giving that...her tummy gurgles a lot 3 to 4 hours after eating....but poops are good and she is playful! Ewwww back to square one.... Thanks! | |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | No Pepcid is a pill, I break the 10mg kind into 1/4. It reduces stomach acid which can cause acid reflux and it can cause nighttime vomiting. The tummy gurgling is often a symptom. Only 1/4 of a pill is needed once a day, it works for 24 hours, I give it with the evening meal. They also sell 20 mg, but it's too hard to break into 8ths.

| I am sorry to hear Zoey had another episode. Hoping you can figure this out, and sending positive thoughts for her when she has the 2 teeth pulled. On a much lighter note, I just saw all of the videos you posted -- Zoey is absolutely adorable and so SMART!! Brains and beauty in one tiny package.
