| My yorkie is making weird noises I need help figuring out why my yorkie is making these weird noises with her nose. It sounds like she's blowing her nose. It's not really a sneeze. It sounds more like blowing out noises like a human would do if they had to blow their nose. Please help |

| No that's not what it is. The best way I can describe it would be to tell you to close your mouth and blow small quick breathes out of your nose. I know it sounds weird but that's what it sounds like. And when she's close to my skin my arm or my leg where ever she's close to gets wet but it's clear like water. |

| Is it when she is sleeping? Their breathing is a little different when they sleep....short and quick. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I would see a vet bc it could be a tooth issue. Also, some dogs who have consistent weird nasal discharge issues could have an oronasal fistula.

| Maggie did this when I first brought her home, it was just like you say...like a quick intentional exhale through the nose, with wet clear fluid. I made a vet appointment and by the time we got in it went away (lasted maybe 4 days total?). My vet said as long as she seems healthy now, no worries, and that it could have been a reaction to the sudden cooler air we had in our area - but I agree with everyone else, to be safe, go to your vet incase its something else.
