| 11 week old will not eat Hi I got Chief 5 days ago. The first day he ate really well. Probably had to do with him being shipped to us and the long travel day. He has slowly been eating less and less. He will not eat from his metal bowl. Today he ate from my hand. He has a few time eaten if we put the food in his crate. Not sure if it is the food and if I should try another brand. I took the week off but willbe returning to work on Monday. |

| First of all, at his age, I would not be as concerned about feeding the best quality food ... I would be more concerned that he was eating enough. Another brand of food might help, if you can find out what brand of food he was eating before you got him, maybe that would work. Also, sprinkling the food with grated parmesan cheese might entice him, dogs seem to be drawn to it.

| Has he had his first visit to the vet yet with blood work and stool sample. Just thought I'd ask if anything showed up in those. What are you feeding him. May I suggest cooked chicken or chicken with egg and goats milk. It's good you are home to see this. You want to make sure he's drinking and eating. |

| He has had vet visits and all seems well. He is eating Science Diet puppy bites as suggested by the breeder. She says he was a little picky when he was with her but would eat eventually. Thanks for chiming in. I just want to be sure he is ok. |

| Try moistening the kibble, some pups prefer softer food, and the extra water will only help him.

| Ziva was picky and would only eat off a flat plate(still does!)- or the floor! They are little and don't eat that much-as long as his poos are "sturdy" he is probably eating enough. |

| I would try finding him a better food that contains actual whole meats rather than a bunch of ground meals and chemicals. He may enjoy it more. Pop into your local pet shop and surf the puppy foods and the ingredients |
