Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Help before I think the worst..Tiny Cysts My sweetheart Chanel is now an older girl and I am so worried about her. She's had a tumor removed already just 4 months ago which was scary so now I constantly check her every day like a doctor would.... BUT - the other day I felt little pebble like things inside her skin down on her lower mammary and groin area. I can really feel them - they feel round and hard of course I went straight to google and scared myself silly ... she HAD a vet appointment but the big Deep South Snowstorm hit and shut down the whole state for 3 days ...I'm scared she may have cancer. I'm hoping to get into the vet on Saturday Has anyone felt tiny pebbles about the size of your pinkie nail in their dogs tummies ? |

| No but I pray that your baby Chanel is ok. I will say a prayer for her. I know you must be so scared. I just found a small soft squishy lump on Daisy's chest and I was so scared. I took her to the vet and it was nothing to worry about. I hope someone can help.

| Momo has a white bump, kinda like a white head on his lower back. Vet knew right away that it wasn't a tumor, he said dogs get them, like warts. Could it be that? Vet said they can spread & he can nuke it w/dry ice thingy (can't remember the term he used!) & scoop it out. He said if he didn't get the roots out, it will probably grow back...& it did. Now it's 2 little bumps clumped together, I'm just leaving it, it hasn't spread anywhere else on his body so I'm not too concerned. But I am watching to see if it gets any bigger, than we might need to biopsy it again. Hope it's nothing serious, the vet can take a look @ it & will be able to tell you what it can be. Oh & don't google!

| I hope this is just some benign bump on Chanel. I know it's so hard not to think terrible thoughts but it's more than likely going to be ok. I wish Chanel all the best at her appt. I just received this in my e-mail it was interesting about lumps and bumps... When to Remove Lumps and Bumps of Your Pet

| Villette, I know it is hard not to worry to think the worst. Praying the little bumps are nothing and that Chanel is fine. Hoping you can get answers on Saturday.

These aren't 'warts' - I wish they were - but under the skin and move around ..I did not make it to the vet today and I'm aiming for Saturday if he has an opening - he's the best vet (and most expensive of course) in this area and I trust him - so have to wait to get her in....he told me before her surgery that one was benign - but it started off just like this and that really worries me that something spread. thank you all for your kind posts - I really appreciate it! I think this is the first time I've ever posted in this section | |

| They are most likely mammary tumors & it will not help to remove the tumors without removing the mammary gland or they WILL come back. Check all of her mammary glands carefully & up into her little armpits as well as you may find more. My LillyMae was a rescue who was covered in hundreds of those tiny little tumors from her little armpits to her crotch & had to have full removal of all of her mammary glands. |

| My thoughts and prayers are with you both, interested to hear what your vet thinks and if a needle biopsy reveals anything. You have been diligent with checking her given her history...so early detection is a plus. I can only imagine your brain working over time, trying to grasp any and all information available. Sounds like you have a very good vet that you trust...put your trust with the vet and positive thoughts and many prayers.

| Great news, we are also getting to the stage of little bumps appearing, vet says they look fine and is just keeping an eye on them. Poor you all that worry.
