| I have tried many foods..and go back to the ones I mentioned...simply because they empty the bowls. They grow well, stay well, keep weight on for breeding, healthy coats, no allergies,..so that is why I feed them what I feed them. They do love Flint River Dry Water..but only ate enough of the dry kibble to stay alive...all lost weight on Pro Plan. They would not eat enough Blue Buffalo, Royal Canine, Pro Plan, Wellness to keep their weight up...many foods gave them loose stools that would not solid up after a month. ...but I am tempted to try Chicken Soup diet. |

| Pat, both our Yorkies really do like the Chicken soup. The puppy one is real tiny bites about the size of an eraser on a pencil. The other one is about the size of a cheerio & looks like one also. I have to buy it at a feed store. It's not sold in grocery stores or PetsMart or the other pet store here.

| Hi All, I've read so much about Chicken Soup that I decided to buy the puppy food online. I ordered the dry and 12 cans of the wet (at petfooddirect.com). I always keep fresh water and dry food out all day (puppy royal canin at present time), and once a day I give Baby wet food. She really doesn't like wet food and I've tried different ones so far (iams puppy, eukanuba puppy, natural choice ultra puppy, hills science prescription diet, some other food in a pouch and can't remember name). So far she seems to like/dislike them all the same! After my first vet visit I told the vet Baby wasn't eating a lot, so he told me to use the prescrip diet b/c that's high in calories so she didn't go into a diabetic shock. She hasn't!! I really hope she goes gaga over the Chicken soup. I'll let you all know!!!

| My dog is a rescued dog and he is abou 7-10 years old with very few teeth left after surgery. The vet reccomends soft food for him. I have been feeding him science diet Senior for dogs 7 and older. Sometimes I feed him Cesar which is for small dogs and it looks and smells amazing. They have filet mignon dinners and he really likes it. I like the science diet for him i feel it has good quality. I would like to know others opinions. I bought IAMS once and had to throw it out. It was sooo disgusting. He had very bad loose stools from it and i just threw out all 5 containers left over. Thanks for the advice |

| I used to have my two yorkies on Science Diet but they are now on INNOVA PUPPY and love it!! It is very healthy and helps their coats not get dry ot itchy!! They also liked California Natural and Healthwise but those are also manufactured by the same people as Innova which is Natura.. Good luck! |

| Yorkie Lover Donating Member | We just recently bought the girls a bag of Nature's Variety Prairie, we haven't tried it yet, but there are no by products, no corn and it all natural. It was also listed on the list as one of the top brands. We got the lamb and rice formula but they have several others as well!!

| I contacted a bunch of pet food companies asking for a sample of their products. of the 15 companies i contacted, i'm in receipt of 11 samples, 2 promises of sample never received, 1 sent coupons but no samples, and 1 didn't even bother with the curtesey of a generic response. I'm in the process of doing a series of tastes tests with bunjee to narrow down the best food in terms of ingredients, cost, and taste. The taste tests should conclude by the end of the month and I will be happy to share the results. But so far, bunjee's two fav's are natural balance and innova puppy. |
