Yorkie Yakker | laziness? Hello all! I have two yorkies... Sony and Stella. Stella is a year and 11 months and Sony is 1 year and 2 months. They are both pretty healthy though Sony is somewhat sensitive just getting over a uti. Anyway.... they are both lazy. They would sleep all day if let them. Some mornings when i wake them up all they do is walk around while other days they are playful. They sleep while I an gone from 8:30-3:30 three days a week but even when I am home they seem to stay on thr same schedule. Mostly they will be playful in the evenings but they are not always crazy then either. My grandma has a yorkie and he is so hyper he can drive ya bonkers and they wonder why mine aren't more playful which makes me feel bad. They are fed high quality food (orijen) and solid gold multivitamin and I walk them and play with them when they are hyper. They also get vet checked regularly. Stella was so crazy when she was little but has become lazy and sony has always been really laid back. If they go outside they go nuts. Does anyone else have a lazy yorkie? |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | All 3 of mine sleep most of the time, especially now with winter here. THey have always been very laid back. I'm home all day with them and unless we are going for a walk, they sleep.

| Each dog has it's own personalities. Some have tons of energy. Others are more laid back. From your description, be thankful yours are laid back and don't drive you bonkers.

| I work nights and Huey sleeps all day with me and dh works days and Huey sleeps all night with him. I think he has a few hours in the afternoon where he is playful and animated. He is almost 5 but this has been his schedule since he came to us at <8 weeks. Some dogs are just more chilled out than others.

| Toki and Teddy sleep most of the time. They play together throughout the day and are always up for playing fetch or going for a walk but they do spend a majority of the time napping or window-watching. I try to plan fun things for us to do that will stimulate them but I'm definitely glad they're not bouncing off the walls at home when I'm trying to study or clean. |
