![]() My Oreo is being neutered and having one tooth extracted, plus getting his microchip tommorrow. Does anyone have any tips for post neutering/tooth extraction home care tips besides the one the vet gives you? Thanks TJ

![]() Teddy didn't seem to have any issues post-neuter/tooth extraction. Obviously no chews or anything for a few days but he was pretty much back to normal the next day. He had 2 upper canines removed and was able to eat a small amount of his regular kibble that evening following the neuter. I did have to work hard to keep him from jumping up and down off the furniture for several days so he wouldn't aggravate the stitches/incision area...after the anesthesia wore off completely, he must have been feeling pretty good (active little dude!)...I don't even think he realized anything was missing ![]() ![]()

![]() Toki - thanks for the good information. Oreo is a pretty energetic guy too, so I know he will bounce back in no time. I just wanted to make sure I had my ducks in a row to make sure he is comfortable after surgery.

![]() Good news! My Oreo had his surgery this morning and did well. He was a little groggy after words but he is doing fine now.
