My furkids Donating Member | need a new soft food I switched from merrick to holistic select...it is a very small kibble made by wellness...they love it! I also use wellness 95% chicken as a topper...I have been feeding this for over a year now. The food, once refrigerated, gets firm enough to cut into little chunks...I have noticed over the past several months that some of the cans..the food is darker in color, smells strong and is more mushy...they sniff it and walk away..eventually eating it but, not like the firmer cans...I sent an e-mail to wellness ans they told me that they have another, local company, that also makes the food....I was feeling good that the food is made not far from where I live but, now am having second thoughts. At almost $3.00 a can I don't want to buy it and not have them eat it! I am thinking about changing the soft food...I will not feed raw...I know a lot of you on here do...just something I'm not comfortable with. I am looking for suggestions...I won't feed store brand food either...I only want the best for my pups... thanks everyone!

| How about Weruva? Mine eat Tripett every other day. It's a pate, unlike Weruva that's shredded.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Mine eat Weruva Funky Chunky and it is human grade food. They love it and have done great on it. They no longer have eye boogers either. It's a bit pricey.

YT 2000 Club Member | dog I just switched over to Wellness super 5 mix healthy weight. I give a little wet food. It is the canned chicken. I noticed it is quite mushy. I have it in the refrig. and it is still soft. My boys eat it but I wish it was more together and not so mushy and soft. |

| We really like Weruva over here. But I'm being cheap, and I'm out of wet food, I'll just buy some cheap Cesar's packets from the local Walgreens -- bad, I know, but it takes up such a small part of his diet, I'm really not worried.

| We do Weruva, Tiki Dog, Earthborn moist foods, Hill's Ideal Balance (this is usually always on sale somewhere near me) and Natural Balance stews. I try to pick up whatever wet food is on sale and I am on different dog food companies' mailing lists so that I get coupons from time to time. |
