| Senior Yorkie Talker | When we first got Gus Gus the breeder was using Life's Abundance really good organic kibble. Then we wanted something a little less grains and used Evo he loved it but after the recent recall which he did not get sick on we found at a local pet store Ziwipeak he loves it. He does prefer the fish one more the lamb.

| YT 2000 Club Member | My vet said to be sure my 9yr old dog gets senior food. I noticed my one store stopped stocking the wellness food. I am still wondering if I should change the Blue Buffalo food to something else. I am concerned about all the complaints about this food. My dogs are doing ok on it, no problems, just don't seem to like it. |

| Just posted a reply elsewhere... but I feed Royal Canin Satiety prescription food and Small Dog Weight Mangement also by Royal Canin. I have two Yorkies between 3 and 4 years old that need weight management, and with just a teaspoon of Natures Recipe Chicken and Vegetable topper mixed in, they go nuts for the diet food. The boys are doing great on this. |

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | They say you shouldn't do it before the age of one, I think he was around two. He has a slight luxating patella (grade one) in one knee and I was hoping it would keep it from getting any worse. It helps keep the joints lubricated.

| Thanks! I also have a 2 year chihuahua who maybe could start on the supplements now. I will have to check it out since they are also prone to knee issues.
