| No, you can't feed a dog JUST "table scraps". Some people homecook for their dogs but it has to be properly balanced and get recipes formulated by a nutritionist. As far as people food goes, I think just being smart about it and using common sense... I don't know when people got this idea that feeding dogs 'human food' was sooo bad. Of course, I'm not talking about cheetos and potato chips and french fries. I would say most things that are terrible for us are also terrible for them lol. Just little bites and use common sense- most dogs won't have issue with a bit of chicken now and then, etc.... you're not going to kill your dog with one bit of beef. But of course look out for what it's marinated in, or flavored with, etc. There is also certain things they cannot have (grapes, raisins, etc).

| I feed ZoE quite a bit of table food. But, I eat my own food very plain. For me a hamburger is just that... a burger on a bun...nothing on it. I rarely care for any seasonings or sauces, so most things I make for me, ZoE can eat too. So she gets a lot of plain baked chicken, a little fish, pork chop, burger. She always gets veggies...carrots, cauliflower, broccoli & I buy her green beans & peas (which I don't like). She also gets apple, banana & she loves watermelon & also likes honey dew & cantaloupe. She also likes scrambled egg and she likes steamed rice. Some of the above she gets as dinner (or breakfast on the weekend), but much of it I use as healthy treats throughout the day/evening.

| we don't give her thing that have season on it. all her food is plane and mix up with her dog food a little at a time. I know she might eat just our food over her dry food most of the time. but she does eat her dry a lot more then we think she does. if it was easer and cheap to feed her human food then we would do it over the dry food we been giving her. the dry is up there and it's the best that I have find so far that don't have meat my-product in it. |

| Human food and table scraps are different. There are many human foods that are good but it should be considered a treat and only make up 10% of there diet otherwise it may keep them from eating there regular food, they might not get the nutrients they need, and they might gain weight. Dogs should never have fatty foods like ham, grapes, onions or garlic.

| What dry food are you feeding her? The dry food she is eating, she should get all her nutrients from that. You should really be home cooking or feed her dry- Either or. Do you want to home cook for her or feed kibble? Peanut is very limited on what human food he gets. He gets about a tablespoon of boiled skinless chicken in the morning. He doesn’t really eat in the morning so this helps gets something in his tummy. Every once in a while he will get a couple coconut chips sprinkled on his kibble Besides his chicken he gets, his dog treats. yogurt, shredded cheese, and strawberries, carrots and green beans. These items are once in a while, not a daily or even weekly thing. He use to get a lot of human foods.. then he was diagnosed with Pancreatitis. I think all the human foods I was giving him plus he ate a Texas Toothpick did him in. That is why now I’m super strict with what goes in that mouth. His dog treats and chicken are really the only thing he gets consistently. These lil babies are sensitive, since they are small it really doesn't take much. Pancreatitis can happen to any of our babies. Please be careful what you are giving your baby.. it all adds up. __________________

| So when you cook your food you end up giving her some of the meat from whatever you cooked correct? So you don’t use any seasoning on your food? Nothing wrong with giving chicken, as long as it is boiled, skinless, boneless and no seasons. I would really watch her cheese intake as well as beef.
