| Artemis Users: What Do You Feed? I finally started receiving samples I requested from some of the companies. Some just send one bag (Wellness, Solid Gold) but Artemis sent me a huge UPS box of food. I think I can feed my 7lb Biewer for a year on what they gave me. Here is a list: (4) SOS Salmon & Brown Rice (4) SOS Duck & Brown Rice (5) SOS Lamb & Brown Rice (4) Osopure Grain Free Bison (4) Osopure Grain Free Salmon (4) Osopure Grain Free Duck (4) Pro A.L.S (8) Fresh Mix Small Breed (1) Measuring Cup I received a total of 37 bags of the stuff! I emailed them and the only thing that is concerning is that they DO get some of the ingredients from China . I do appreciate their honesty, but, I also am putting into consideration their reputation AND they never had a recall. I am just curious as to what Artemis you feed.

| Sorry, I don't feed Artemis so I didn't click on your post. Wow that's a lot of samples! Just out of curiosity, can you share w/us what ingredients they source from China? & did they share w/you how it's sourced? Like do they have their own company there & what their safety protocol is?

Unfortunately, I deleted the email I received and do not remember off hand. If you go into the Super Premium Pet Foods List sticky, click on their website and then on "contact us" and send them an email, they get back to you pretty quickly. If you ask them the exact same question you just asked me, I'm sure they will get back to you. Please report back if you decide to do so and share your findings.

Ok, I was able to find some of the info. that was given to me but does not cover your concern if they have a plant in china: "The only dog food ingredients imported from China are the vitamins and minerals. There is really no way around it, but we employ an independent laboratory in the mid-west to conduct testing prior to use. The vitamins and minerals are chelated"

| I also requested samples from Artemis & they also were VERY generous. My pups are finicky though & they wouldn't touch it.

Well I always mix wet in cause my JuneBug hardly has any teeth left being from a puppy mill. They extracted most of them, which is good, cause I would hate for him to be in pain and also have future health issues due to infection. I havent started the samples yet but I don't think he will have issues, as long as there is wet mixed in, he is a happy camper!
