Ok, I was able to find some of the info. that was given to me but does not cover your concern if they have a plant in china:

"The only dog food ingredients imported from China are the vitamins and minerals. There is really no way around it, but we employ an independent laboratory in the mid-west to conduct testing prior to use. The vitamins and minerals are chelated"
