| Ok so an update. The vet is not sure what he has so is contacting someone higher for advice. I asked the vet to go through everything with me so far so I could understand better what had been found. So on the first urine test struvite crystals were found but they say they are not sure whether the dog has these or if because the urine was a few hours old that crystals can form in it and that was the reason these showed up in the test. The other urine test came back as detecting inflammation and not infection but he was treated with antibiotics for three weeks on a few occasions and things got better. I have put him on a senior diet and Cranimals powder which he loves anyway so if it works then great. Will keep you updated when the vet comes back with more info. Thanks everyone. x |
