| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I’ve fed Royal Canin to Joey for many years and was very happy with it. My foster dog Ralphie had many allergies and had to be on a special food because of digestion problems and allergies. The manufacture of his food did a food ingredient change and he didn’t do as well on the new food, so I switched him to RC thinking it was just temporary, while I looked for a new food. I’m pleased to say, he hasn’t had any problems with the RC and some of the other problems he had such as constant burping at night and white flakes on skin, have cleared up. Also, not one attack of irritable bowel syndrome since the switch, and it’s been over 6 months now. I also think the company has very high manufacturing standards, and that’s important to me. I also love the fact that they love their food!

| My little Izzy was fed RC from the time she was weaned until about 6 months old when I noticed she was itching. Jack never had any issues with the RC or anything I have fed him (fortunately). I then switched both of them to Spot's Stew and they love it and no more itching. If Izzy didn't develop the itches I would have stayed with it because I have heard so many good things about it. But the Spot's Stew is working and it is all natural and endorsed by Ellen Degeneres (actually, I think she owns part or all of the company that makes SS).

| Bella's now almost 6 years old and has been on RC her entire life and is very healthy and happy. We also fed our previous Maltese, Sasha, RC and she lived a long and very healthy SEVENTEEN years! Recently, after Bella's dental, we had to switch to soft food temporarily. I must say she did voraciously devour and enjoy the soft Cesar foods and we had fun picking out all the different meals for her. Once that 'treat' was over, we phased the RC back in ... she kind of sniffed and seemed to say "where's the fun stuff?"! lol But, when RC was the only thing available, it didn't take long for her to get back to it and enjoy it as well. Also, a bonus, we purchase Bella's food at Global Pet Foods. They have a program whereby after you purchase a certain number of bags you get one free. ![]() So, in our house, it's another positive vote for RC.
