| Can dogs feel the ticks? I googled ticks on dogs and found some disgusting pictures of poor dogs with their ears infested... So sad. I don't know how someone could let it get that bad? Ugh. That's what I get for searching for that...

| Lol and I can't imagine seeing fleas! lol. I don't think I've ever seen one. I think I'd prefer ticks because at least I know they are not moving or jumping around, just have to pick them off and they don't multiply! haha! But they are still gross.

| When we got one of our puppies from an Amish farm we took her to the vet and could not see them but she had like 5 ticks deep down in each ear it was so terrible.

| I don't vaccinate for Lyme either. Definitely not one of the necessary vaccinations for this area.

Ticks scare me because they carry disease and some are so small that they can't be detected before they have already done their thing. Overall, they do seem easier to fight than fleas.

I think I'll stick w/advantix loll. I've only had to remove 1 fat engorged tick from a golden retriever's neck & I almost . The crazy part is, the tick's head got embedded in the dog's neck bc I couldn't get to the head bc it was so fat & snapped off when I was trying to get it off & I saw the head going deeper into the skin! So I told the owner to go to the vet & get it removed & have him tested for lymes disease. I couldn't stop doing the 'get it off me, feels like it's crawling all over me' freaky dance.

| Yes you told us not to google ticks on dogs. But I did it anyway. Stupid, stupid, stupid. OMG! Those poor dogs. Lexi is never going outside again. LOL. But I did check her. She came up clear. Thank goodness. |
