I think everyone should evaluate all information and make an informed decision. I won't get into the pro con of bully sticks because it is what it is. I am so happy that Callie has a great mommy and was taken care of immediately! I wanted to step in because I will get into the pro con of rawhides. Please don't give your pup rawhides. Every vet I know agrees with this. I don't even understand why they are made (well, yeah - I asked one time and got the obvious "$$$$" answer). Bottom line - rawhides are not digestible. AND, the little pieces that come off make the Double Danger for small dogs and toy breeds. They can choke a small dog in a flash. Too many dogs have died from digestive obstructions and choking/suffocating due to rawhides (doesn't matter where they are made). So, please trash the rawhides. ...Sorry to get away from the bully topic, Taylor. And, again - I am so happy that Callie is healing up and has a mommy that loves her and protects her

| Thank you, Taylor, for sharing yours .. and your sweet Callie's experience....and thank you, too, to all of the others who shared their stories. I have never and will never use these things. There are many different hazards with them...stomach issues, choking, intestinal blockages...and now your story! Your Callie is lucky to have you...you made sure she was well quickly!

| I'm sorry to hear that and I'm glad everything is okay now. It's an unfortunate situation but in all reality, bully sticks arent that hard and that could have happened by checking on anything, including his food or a toy. I'll still be giving Louie his bully sticks. They keep his mouth clean since he hates his teeth being brushed and it calms him down when he gets crazy. I don't give them to him for very long, maybe a half hour a night. if he wouldnt be chewing n that, he would find something else that would be just as likely to break his teeth. |

| I haven't got any bully sticks lately b/c I ran out and just haven't ordered. BUT My dog sitter brought some to the dogs and I'm left with just one so it sits on my night. I have mixed feelings. I was hoping it would help with Crimsons baby teeth but didn't. Taylor, I'm so very sorry about Callie. You are such a great mom to her.
