| I understand what you are going through with your baby. Lots of helpful suggestions above, all of which I agree with. My boy had the foamy throw up very occasionally and all the vet tests were fine. He however would want to eat immediately as if nothing happened. It seems to be an acidy stomach mainly when empty, or there would be undigested food in the foam. A few things I do. I give his food four times a day, six am, 12 noon, 4 pm and 8 pm....just before bed. He would usually throw up foam around 5 am. This to keep something in his tummy. Apart from the empty tummy, stress also tended to make him more liable to throw up. The vet suggested giving him Pepsid (Famatodine is the generic I believe) at night before bed. If he takes that.....no problems. He did seem to be sensitive to a new bag of the same food sometimes and I was caught up in changing the food when this happened. Perhaps the food manufacturer changes some minor ingredients that he is sensitive to?? I know that the frequent feeding is a pain to do, but I do it to try and keep him well. Now I do give him the Pepsid at night but with decreasing dose and hope to stop altogether soon. So far so good for several weeks now, but I wish the triggers were known. As for treats, we have here dehydrated chicken breast in pieces that can be broken up easily and keep for ages in the fridge. It is called. "Pure Bites" and is made in USA. Good luck, it is a worry I know. Hope some of the suggestions help. |

| Have u considered a specialist? U might want to send testing results to Cornell and see if they can spot something that's NOT being looked at. Good luck, hope you find a solution. Oh and you might want to try sucralfate daily, ur vet can give u a script for that.

| YT Addict | My Morkie just got diagnosed with producing to much acid recently. He is on a nausea med, and pepcid. He went from throwing up Bile 6 times (a week ago) to being fine now. Plus they had me put him on a bland diet of Hills Science Diet ID for 3 weeks. Within 24 hours he was back to chasing my other dog, a dachshund and running in circles and playing. I hope you find out what is wrong with your puppy. |

| Yorkie Talker | That happened to my Riley before. It was because he didn't eat enough. I was trying to switch from his puppy food to adult food same brand but different flavor and he hated it and didn't eat much that day so the next day just fed him his puppy food and he was fine no isses ever again Quote:
