My son's dog got a nasty burn/chafing when the groomer used clippers and vet said scissors are much safer. If the skin is compromised in that area, it's so easy to get an infection, and that what happened to my little grand dog.

Groomer shaves and I use scissors. They just don't like it. I tell them "Stop boot scootin'". LOL
