				   | I remember seeing a thread a few mouths ago about Healthy Mouth water additive...I can't find it now. I was wondering if anyone has any experience using this brand. I'm considering switching & was looking for some feedback. Thanks.

				   | It might have been me. I used it and one of the dogs refused to drink it. I tried to slowly adjust the water, added it to kibble, etc. I contacted the company for a refund. I then tried the gel and did not like the product at all -- it was a mess to try to apply. I then tried the water additive again, buying the biggest container. I again had no luck. I recently contacted the company and asked for the spray which has been out of stock and I can't seem to get an answer about when it might be back. I recently also asked about the cat water, which is fish flavored not cinnamon flavored, and I learned that flavor can be used for dogs also, and since I didn't want to spend another couple of hundred dollars trying out products from them, I asked for a small sample and never received a response. I'm done with them, and on to Leba III which is working well for my dogs.

				   | Oh wow. That sounds like a horrible experience! I'm so sorry! I haven't heard of Leeba III. I'll look it up. That does work for you? Do you know if it's flavored?

No, it wasn't a horrible experience. I really believe in the product and wanted to make it work but it just didn't. Teddy would flip out every time he walked over to the water bowl. He did not like the apple green color and when he tasted the water, he would shake his head and splash the water all over. It wasn't fair to keep trying after several weeks of this. It has a flavor, and he did not like it. The other dogs also were not into it, but they accepted it more readily. The Leba III I bought on Amazon. It does not have the same clinical backing as Healthy Mouth or the VOHC seal but I had read here that many people liked it. It's basically alcohol with some herbs mixed in. The flavor is mild and they accept it better than the HM. I think you should still try it -- the company offers a money back guarantee if your dog won't accept it.

				   | Sounds like you were REALLY patient & REALLY believe in the product. I just wish that had a sample size. I guess $50 isn't bad though...Thanks so much for the feedback!
