It seems that you are going through a lot with this breeder. You might save yourself a heartache and not push for THIS puppy or THIS breeder. I don't know much, but I am basing it again my experience with my breeder. I really have no concerns on the breeders end. Really, it's all on MY end. I am worrying if I am going to do everything right from care to training. I certainly would not want the added stress of if the breeder is doing everything right. I feel very comfortable with my breeder and the time, dedication, and care they have put into my pup. Even before I knew I would be getting a pup NOW. lol.

Just my humble opinion.

A lot of breeders do this or grind up kibble and mix with water/goat milk if they feel babies are not getting enough from their mommies once they start weaning them

Are breeders still doing the rice even thought its been found out to have arsenic?

Why wouldnt the breeder add a canned puppy food to the mixture of puppy food? Or formula? Or goats milk?
I know our veterinarians would NEVER advise to give rice cereal to help with growth or weaning.
I know it wont kill them, but there are certainly ALOT of healthier options,
I too agree with the above poster who mentioned maybe skipping this breeder, and looking for one you are more comfortable with. IF she got annoyed at you asking the question, i would move on.

Ohhh I thought you already had her and you were asking. I trust what Betty says-

You need trust in your breeder- if you dont have that, might want to find one you do!!
