YT 2000 Club Member | You call that vet tomorrow if there is any reason for concern. Just make sure things are the way they should be. Neuter should not be a big deal, just keep him quiet if that is possible for a Yorkie. They love to lplay. I am glad he is home and comfy. |

And if it gets any worse looking overnight, call an ER clinic and/or take him to it. I'm glad he's getting some rest. That's a good thing for healing

| awwwwwwww I know just how you feel. I had Trinket spayed yesterday. Got her micro chipped and removed 2 baby teeth. I was a mess until they called and said she was waking up. Try to keep busy. |

YT 2000 Club Member | When we had Max neutered he wasn't swollen or anything. He bounced back right away. I would keep an eye on that or take him to the vet if it isn't better!

So that is why I find it so weird that Dexter swelled up ... he swelled up to a size where it doesn't even look like he was neutered. | |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | He is still really swollen down there. All last night he whined from discomfort, but when he finally fell asleep he was fine. This morning he is still swollen and his area is still a little blue & now it is a little red. I don't think this is normal at all >.< but the thing is he isn't acting in pain at all. In fact I'm actually trying to have to calm him down because all he wants to do is play. I called my regular vet and told them what was up. They said that swelling can happen but if it seems to be causing him pain/discomfort to bring him in ASAP. |
