| Formula Changes to Fromm ?? oscar has been eating Fromm for months and doing well on it. i noticed with this last bag he would get occasional soft poo but for 2 days he has had severe diarheaa. i took him to the vet for an exam and a fecal test, which came back normal and he was otherwise healthy.. vet said to give a bland diet , i gave him plain white rice for a day and he had perfect poo. this morning i gave him his normal kibble and soon after it was running out of him. i don't get it... so i called my vet and she said give him the bland diet till it clears up then try him on a limited ingredient diet. so i am going to go with that .. i found this one on chewy.com Natural Balance L.I.D. Limited Ingredient DietsŪ Sweet Potato & Fish Small Breed Bites Dry Dog Food |

| Oh man! I don't think they changed their formulas...did you maybe get an expired bag or try a new formula? Do your other dogs eat the same food and have they experienced similar issues? I hope your little man does well on the NB! |

| It could be a bad bag. U'd call Fromm and talk to them about it. They should give a full refund/exchange. I would not feed one more meal from that bag just in case there is a problem with it.

| I have a bag of the Beef Frittata! Hopefully we won't run into any similar issues. That's great that you were able to get a full refund though. |

| Hmmmm, odd. We haven't had any issues but we're on a different formula. Beef Fritta was his favorite, but it did give him the softest stools, but it seems weird that it would just come up randomly at the end of the bag? Did he get into anything outside, etc?

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I would still call them and let them know that you are having a problem.

| i know , i thought it was odd too. Well i dont think he got into anything but anything is possible. His fecal test was negative , when i gave him just plain white rice his poop was perfect. When i gave him the fromm this morning he had the runs about an hour later.. |

| I remember reading another thread about Fromm giving a pup soft stools, a few weeks ago. It registered with me, because I had the same experience with ZoE & a bag of Fromm Chicken A La Veg, that I picked up at the store right by my parent's house. ZoE's regular food is RC, but I forgot to take some with me, so ran around to the nearest food store and when they didn't have her RC, I went with Fromm. Strange...maybe some dogs just don't handle it well.

| We have had some mixed results with Fromm also. We feed Horizon Legacy now and all 4 of our dogs like it and do well on it.
