I use Revolution and have no problems like I've had with other products.

I have used Revolution for years and love it...just be sure you get it applied ONTO THE SKIN....part the hair and be sure it gets directly on the skin....alot of people have been known to just haphazardly squeeze the ampule out onto the dogs neck and then gripe about how Revolution does not work and their dog got heartworms while on it!!!! OPERATOR ERROR, NOT A PROBLEM WITH THE PRODUCT!!!!

There finally is a new product out that is safe for our babies that protects them from those vicious ticks. Just wanted everyone to know that a new safer tick and flea product out. It kills ticks on contact it's from Merk( I have no affiliation with) I'm just an over protective yorkie mother,
It's called is Activyl® Tick Plus for Dogs only? It's ingredients are a lot safer than the rest. Hope this helps my fellow mothers. Check it for yourself or ask your vet about it. I live in the tropics so my baby needs it here.

If its brand new I would wait and see if it really works and if there are problems with it before using it on my baby.

Frontline doesn't even work where I live I have to use Advantix

I just got home from my vets.....I had them measure and apply Frontline to my pups. They measure according to weight and give the correct amount. They were able to give all my pups from 1 vial! Saves a lot of money and worries about over dosing. I also use Heartgard Plus monthly for hearworm, ascarid and hookworm prevention and treatment. My pups are small and they have not had any side effects or reactions to either of them products!

I wish they would come up with weight appropriate doses. My little Benji only weighs 4 1/2 lbs. She keeps me going, I have to make sure everything is clean because she will eat anything. I have to keep all the screens closed because she will jump out the window to chase the local goats. I worry about ticks and the frontline and recalled dog food and teethe cleaning. She was a rescue and I love her so much.

Activyl Tick Plus has permethrin in it jut like Advantix.

Neither drug should be used in houses with kitties.

Why did I choose Revolution? I looked at all the reactions from the dog meds and I believe this med has a pretty safe reaction list. My friend's poodle breeder recommends this. My vet ok'ed it. Selemectin is not as dangerous as some of those pesticides out there. Check it out on line. Look up reactions to...... then list the med you use.
