That indeed was what bothered me. You can sit and espouse your view points all day long; but to state things that are not based on fact about a professional needs correction imho.

Gail, I know you addressed Linda, but I wanted to answer also. For my boys, I typically do chicken and butternut squash. Sweet potatoes were my staple until recently. I add veggies to the mix. My Daisy also has the squash, and some veggies (she can't tolerate carrots), and she has chick peas in her diet. I dont remember its been yrs since I read the book. I was all set to homecook untill I read that book and it made it sound so complicated especially trrying to get the odd ingredients that I gave up my idea of homecooking because I didnt want to mess with it. If I ever did want to homecook I would go a nutritionalist because I know it cant be that complicated. Most are just using a balanceit suppliment

Yeah the issue I first encountered was how to get all the supplime ted citamins and minerals added to premade when the dogs won't eat lets say kale...
