Thank you all very much ! She is doing very well, she needs to get used to everything all over again apparently .. Like where she drinks and eats, or where she is resting and sometimes where to "do her thing " haha, but she's ok, finally! She was actually sleeping on my chest for an hour up until now haha .. I love her Can't wait to upload photos of her

So, I'm getting frusterated here.. She started throwing up again two days ago, 2 times a day, And the problem is probably the food. My mon and I took her to the hospital yesterday and they did some x-rays of the way her food gets in until it gets out. I don't have the results yet.. But they gave us hills' z/d ultra allergen free canned food for her.. And since yesterday afternoon until today at lunch she didnt throw up, and then I gave her some of it, and an hour and a half later she threw up chunks, like she didn't even chew the food..then, 4 hours later, my mom gave her food, and she mushed it with a fork, and I noticed her tummy was really hard and she drank a lot , and then she threw up! 3 times!! My parents payed a lot of money on her visits at the hospital.. And my mom said that she is not taking her in again to pay more money.. I'M REALLY SCARED! I am afraid that she might die! I think she maybe ate too much , and thats why she threw up.. My mom said that until tommorow morning we won't give her food, and that we will give her a little less.. Because she is tiny .. But I am worried, and I wish I could drive there myself, but, I don't have a license I told my grandma to pick me up, but my mom told her not to.. So I'm kind of lost. The doctors dont have answers on why she Is throwing up.. I am scared that my parents will tell me that we have to give her back to where we got her from (the breeder).. I'm starting to think that it was a bad idea to take the smallest puppy there PLEASE! I NEED SOME ADVICE!

I make a lot of homemade meals for my girls there are a ton of recipes on line. I would be cautious about rice and wheat and potato products they can cause upset tummies Yorkie digestive systems are so sensitive

Right now she is eating Hills' z\d which is a medical canned food, We already tried chicken and rice two weeks ago bet she didn't like it. We will stick to that food, I'm just worried that there is something more then just the food that is causing her to throw up... Because she acts usual, and has appetite, and drinks, but sometimes she throws it up and that really worries me..

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | It is normal to fast a dog that has been vomitting, to help rest their stomach. But you need to make sure she stays hydrated/watered. Now you are waiting for results for the testing they did on her digestion system right? Try to talk with the vet or at least listen in when she is talking with him. Then ask the question about the vomitting. You said her tummy is hard, remember to mention that to him as well. Also with her hard tummy is she panting, pacing, and or dry heaving at all? Keep calm you are doing a splendid job right now. Maybe grandma can loan you the money for her next vet visit; you can offer to forego birthday and Christmas gifts, and offer your services to her, say cleaning her house once a week, doing groceries for her, mowing the lawn, etc to start to pay her back. Just an exchange of services as it were. You can also say tell your Mom this, as your part of being financially responsible for your pup. Alas we can't tell you what it is or it isn't, but if you have a specialty hospital in town, that might be your best next stop. I am offering up my prayers and all sorts of positive thoughts for your gal.

I always tell my home health patients to make a list of concern or questions when they go to the Dr. U think most people get anxious and forget ESP if you are worried. Write down your little ones symptoms. I like journals do I write few examples of the problems. I will give you an example. Tuttie at 1/3 of her a cup of _______ food at 9 am. She vomited a quarter sized amount of clear vomit at 930 am. She drank water 5 times today She played about 30 min and slept the rest of the time. She pee pee'd 3 times today. She pooped 1 x at 12 noon it was brown and soft with some watery consistancy This way your vet has a much clearer picture. I use potty pads when my little ones are sick for 2 reason. One I can see how much they pee pee'd and if it dark colored or has an Oder to it I also video any things that seems odd to show my wet. Mollie had a really as cough and of course when she was at the vet she never did that. I was back at the vet a few days later for the same thing this time I hassle taped it so the. Wt was able to see what I was. On what I was concerned with. I also take picks of strange poops or vomit just to paint a better picture Write down you question to discuss with the vet. This is your child so you are nervous when you go theses tools will help you I would also recommending getting another vets oppenion. You can use the Internet to research the vets. You may find home of them have extensive traing in different areas I hope this helps get you a diagnosis. I hope your little one gets well soon!

Thanks It's really warming my heart to find a great support here Tutti is now sleeping, we fed her almost an hour ago, and she looks fine, I REALLY hope she won't throw up. Now,what is dry heaving? But no she is not panting or pacing. She behaves usual, accept from the vomitting part, I hope that it was all just because she ate too much, and that will solve her problem. Also, the hospital is 25 minutes of driving away from my house, and I really can't ask my grandma for money, she uses it to pay for other things that I don't think are relevant here.. And I don't have the time, with school and all, to work or do those things you said.. Anyway, I'll keep you updated

| This is excellent advice! I keep a spreadsheet of all major medical events in my furbabies lives, as well as type of food, and it has helped the vet more than once. Has your vet tried to prescribe anything to coat her stomach (I don't want to mention specifics because I'm not a vet)? My Bayleigh had a "possible obsruction", 2 days of IV fluids + x-rays, still vomitting. Then they gave me 3 meds, one for acid, one for coating the stomach lining and one for motility, and after a couple of days on those, she was magically better. Best of luck to you, I know how distressing it can be! Quote:

You can also ask the vet if there is a human equivalent ESP gor pain and stomach upset. I use baby aspirin when mollies arthritis acts up I want use steroids just because my little billy died from renal failure secondary to steroid use. I also use peptones bismal for tummy problems it is just as effective with a much lower cost. My vet always calculates my doses for me based on weight so please don't use this for your little ones without talking to yor vet first. This is based on person experience

The last time we were there, the vet said that they don't want to give her any mess at the moment.. But I Think They're WRONG!! I absoulutly think that she should be on meds. And yesterday she started doing those noises that sound like she wants to throw up/empty her throat , but she is not doing that now. She also looks pretty tired, but I don't think she'll be dehydrated because she does eat and drink but only sometimes throws up. I'm feeling like I'm about to cry
