Dont let her eat tooooo much!!! She is probably very hungry, and she will scarf that food down, and then she may vomit it back up just because she at tooo much, too fast!!! Just give her a couple tablespoons and then make her wait for more...for about 2 hours....and then give her 2 more spoonfuls...

Well, first of all, I hate the vet! They made me wait a week to tell me she is dehydrated! I'm taking her now to the hospital to give her fluids and antibiotics. And then she'll be fine

You poor thing! Trying sooooo hard to be a good mommy to that precious little girl, and doing a very good job, I might add! Please get back on here and let us know how she is doing....anytime you have vomiting ands or diarrhea, or if they just go off food and water, you have the likelyhood of the baby derveloping dehydration. You can watch that yourself from now on and if it happens again, you can tell your vet you are concerned about that....he will pull up on her skin and look at her gums and be able to tll if she is dehydrated...they can give her fluid, usually under the skin, where it is absorbed slowly and steadily. Next trip to the vet, ask them to give you some syringes to have on hand, so next time, if she needs to be given water or food, you will have something to use to do that....5cc or 10cc syringes are good....keep us posted on her progress...

Sounds like you have her a vet that is knowledgable! Stick with this one! I think he is closer to you too, right? I am happy she is getting the treatment she needs...dont forget to get some syringes for her to keep in a little kit so if sh ever gewts where she isnt eating or drinking again, you will have the correct supplies to help her stay hydrated. She sounds like she is going to do better now.....keep us posted sweetie! You are a good mommie!

Oooooh! Some vets so annoy me...! All this time you've been worrying your little heart out, and your poor Littlie has been suffering....when if she'd been properly diagnosed in the first place, all this wouldn't be happening aaargh! Thank goodness you've finally managed to get her to the right place, for the right treatment...good luck, everything crossed - and you're doing brilliantly! Sally + Harry x

I dont know if you have a baby drink there called Pedialyte....if you do, you need to get a bottle...that has all the electrolytes in it that she is getting under her skin now...when she got dehydrated, all her electrolytes got out of balance....they are replacing those now ....you want to keep her hydrated and her electrolytes balanced....when she gets home, instead of giving her water in her bowl to drink, put the Pedialyte in there for her to drink....if she refuses to drink it from her bowl, replace it with plane water, but they you can give her about 10cc by mouth, about every 2-3 hours...jus dribble it in her mouth and let her lick it from the tip of the syringe...after she gets used to the taste, she will begin to drink it from her bowl....

I am really happy to say that tutti is getting better! After almost 14 hours of being unconsciousness , she woke up, ate and drank by herself, and haven't thrown up! I cried (happy tears) when my mom told me the good news. I was SO WORRIED ! My heart was beating so fast all day long! I Love her, and I'm greatfull to the vets who took good care of her, she is going to stay there probably one more day, and after she will be herself again, they will make some tests to see why she threw up in the first place.. Im going to visit her in an hour.. Thank you so much for the comments and concern , ill be sure to update you

This is wonderful news!! I am soooo happy for you and your baby!!! I do hope your vet has been able to give you an idea about what happened that caused this illness from the beginning, so that perhaps, if it was aviodable, you can make sure you dont get caught up in this again. Again, I am so happy for you! Be sure she is eating and drinking very well on her own before you take her home!
