| WARNING! Chicken Soup Dog Food Recall Alert: Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul | Life With Dogs I would highly recommend avoiding any Diamond pet food - So many of them are getting recalled or being questioned lately! Here's a list of all the foods they make. Canidae Pet Food Costco's Kirkland Signature Solid Gold Health Products for Pets Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance Pet Foods Kirkland Signature Nature's Domain (Available only at Costco) Taste of the Wild Pet Foods Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul 4Health (Available only at Tractor Supply Company) NutraGold Super Premium Holistic Formulas

| Taste of the wild??????? I thought that was a good food! Like one of the best! TOTW is what mine eat and I've had no problems. And this was after trying different brands for their pickiness. What is wrong with it? |

| Right now, nothing - This is just a list of all foods made by Diamond, and I've been noticing ALOT of their foods are starting to get recalled, or having questionable quality control. Honestly, here's what I always tell my adopters ask me. I recommend avoiding Diamond products now, BUT if TOTW or something similar is what they can afford and their dog does well on it, stay with it - But just be careful and watch, and be aware of any recalls! I use to swear by Canidae before Diamond bought them out, then all my dogs started loosing weight on it and I had to change.

I took posters advice from here on YT on different brands and thought this was a better food and brand. TOTW even sent a box of samples while I was trying to see what my 2 would like/eat and which would be better for them. | |

| Thanks for posting this. Funny that I just receive a box with 8 bags of free samples from NB, I requested these a week before reading about Diamond foods recalls and problems. I do not trust this company at all no matter if the food test came back clean. |

Benjamin I've started cooking for, if I'm to tired to make his food and don't have any stored, he gets Ziwi Peak, Primal Raw, or Canine Caviar wet foods. Aiyana's my hardest - She has ALOT of food allergies, so I keep her on Ziwi Peak or there's some of Canine Caviar's foods she can handle, especially their canned line. Martini gets Royal Canin Gastrointestinal - Not one I'd highly recommend, BUT it's the only food that agrees with her and keeps her stools just right. The other IGs get either Orijen, Canin Caviar, or Acana, I rotate. My Afghans I keep on Orijen with Canin Caviar canned foods. My 2 house guest Yorkies I'm not real pleased with their diet, but upon the request of their dad I'm leaving it alone - They eat Blue Buffalo.

I was shocked when I heard here several people say they don't trust Evangers! I use to feed their foods alot, especially their canned foods, but am phasing them out now. I also do a raw meal a day - My dogs get kibble for breakfast, and raw for dinner generally. Most of them get prey model, little Benjamin gets Bravo or Pinnacle since it's ground, prey model doesn't work well for a 3 lb toothless dog LOL

| Even compared to other top quality foods it's a bit pricy - But look into Canine Caviar! My dogs all LOVE it!
