Sonicare is made for humans. The brush head is the same as a regular small toothbrush, so it does fit in their mouths.

No tropiclean. Just the flexcare compact brush. Yes, marketed for humans. Sugar is 3.5 pounds with a tiny little mouth. I can get in in her entire mouth (all sides of all teeth) just fine.

Thanks. I feel like I don't really have a choice. Sugar begins to form visible tartar and have bloody gums if I miss more than 2 days brushing. I attempt to brush her teeth twice a day but am satisfied with once if that's all we get

I forgot to answer the second part of your question...I got Biotene water additive, Healthymouth gel and water additive, Breathalyser water additive, and Petzlife Salmon flavored gel, and spray.

Yes.The compact head is about half sized I would guess. Even if you have an uncooperative pup, you can get a quick go-round on all of the teeth and do 5X the cleaning you would get with a manual toothbrush in twice the time

I think I saw this or saw that someone else was using a sonicare on their dogs and thought that I might start doing that too since i have one for myself. and when I was at Target I hit the jackpot!!

KIDS Sonicare toothbrush heads. on CLEARANCE! They are even smaller than the regular ones and have soft bristles. They had two sizes 4+ and 7+ kids ages. I got the smallest and have brushed a few times and it has been going okay..I think I have done a lot of brushing of lips but everytime has gotten better.

So if you are or are wanting to start using a sonicare on them and have a Target near you I suggest going to get these before they run out! Usually when target has things on clearance they go away or are replaced with something slightly different. But instead of like $25 for 2 heads it was $12 I think.

Also, I have a question to add...do yall use seperate brushes for your dogs? I have been since I figured that spreading bacteria between the two would be just as bad for dogs as people. But just wondering if this is the norm?

Thanks for the tip! I have a sonicare stashed away, as it was toooooo much for my daughter. I'll drag it and try it on the girls, now.

About the bacteria sharing: Dogs have enzymes in their mouths that humans do not. That's why they can eat things like raw meat and not get salmonella

Kudos To Shugga !!! She told me about this about 2 mos ago, and after I finished mocking her, I started using it on Polo... Last visit to the Vet I was expecting to be told... time for a cleaning... Instead I was asked, what I was doing as Polo's pearly whites sparkled! I thought Polo was going to fight and resisit, but he actually enjoys it... The key was to provide praise...
