Yorkie Yakker | Terra is Putting EVERYTHING in her mouth!!!! Ok, it's day 2 of Terra being home. Everything is going great except she wants to eat everything! Every time we go into the yard she picks up sticks, rocks, little shells, grass, flowers, mud...and starts happily munching away! I haven't taken my eyes off her so I catch it pretty quick but it worries me. What would happen if she swallows some rocks? Or sticks? Would they just pass through her system?

| She's exploring the world! That's how puppies learn things. But, it's your job to make sure she doesn't put anything in her mouth that she shouldn't. Rocks and sticks are dangerous for dogs, so these are a no-no. Teach her the "leave it" command. And until she knows it AND listens, keep her on a leash and away from flowers, etc. There are many plants and flowers that are dangerous to dogs. And dirt can contain parasites.
