Brown rice or white rice?

I tried Harry on brown rice - but he definately prefers white, so I try to mix them together (he does tend to pick the brown out though...!!!).

What veggies do you use, I would like to cook for mine sometimes, i know they get bored with the same thing all of the time, and do you use any meat other than chicken

You can use many different proteins and fruits and veggies to switch it up so they don't get bored. If homecooking is more than 10% of their diet, you need to add supplements and have a balanced diet formulated. I used Welcome to Pet Diets like Cathy and Rhonda have said as well.

Generally - carrots, peas, sweetcorn and green beans. I vary it sometimes - but these are the ones Harry likes best

And yes, sometimes I give him ground steak - and occasionally ground lamb - but it's always the chicken that goes down best!

Yeah What she said... I use the same diet plans and supplements suggested... Polo said to send all the brown rice this way... He loves it. Ground beef and chicken are the 2 proteins he enjoys... and when he sees me at the grill he freaks knowing the beef may become filet for the evening

Lucky Polo! Between the home cooking and the filet and the Sonicare he is probably even more spoiled than Sugar. All she gets is rabbit and venison and the occasional grouper

Either/or, Betty...depends on the season. Sometimes our frozen veggies are fresher, as they're frozen almost immediately. Whereas if I go to the market to buy them, I'm never quite sure how long they've been 'hanging about'...

I still have about 4 bags left from last mango season. Looks like I froze almost the right amount. Mango season is around the corner!!

The only time I have seen the words froze and mango together were at Rita's Water ice,,, Polo loves mango,,, I'll trade ya some jersey corn/tomatoes for some of those mangos...

I usually use fresh veggies... but the frozen peas with diced carrots in it make it very easy to serve dinner... And yes the sonicare is working wonders.. thanks Miss shugs..

We can certainly work out a deal I know the mangos will ship well as long as they are slightly under ripe
