Optimus eats the Orijen puppy food, though we are slowly transitioning to the regular dog food (the vet suggested this since he's basically done growing). He has his days where he just doesn't want to eat (no time! must play!). If I mix a bit of canned Instinct in with it (a tablespoon or so) just enough to coat the kibble in something slimy -- he eats it right up!

But this morning I put her food in the bowl, poured some warm water in it, mixed it around, let it sit 5 minutes, and next thing I know, when I go to place the bowl on the floor she was going crazy running in circles. She ate and licked every ity bity piece. Crazy how one lil adjustment can make a whole lot of difference. Thanks for the info!

Sasha gets Primal raw in the morning and Blue Buffalo Wilderness kibble in the evening. When she was younger, she was definitely an extremely picky yorkie. I went through SO many foods (Pro Plan, Solid Gold, Nutro, Natural Balance, TOTW, Nature's Variety Prairie & Instinct, Merrick, Orijen, Acana)....heck I'm sure there's more that I forgot! She really took to the grain-free foods the best so for awhile I would change the brand and flavor after every bag, making sure the food was grain-free. Once I tried Blue Buffalo Wilderness, I never changed brands afterwards. She has just always preferred this food over the others for some reason. Of course she prefers her raw the best in the morning.

Just warmed his kibble and a tad of plain yogurt up and we went crazy and ate it all. Even whined smelling it. Minutes before he refused to eat and has been refusing to eat the reccommended portions for awhile. Try to heat it up! I just read it in another thread and worked like a charm.
