| Vaccination allergy Today, Gizmo had his 3rd set of vaccinations. About an hour later, he was constantly rubbing his eyes. When I looked closer, I noticed that the skin around his eyes was red & puffy. Then his ear & snout became very hot and puffy. I raced him the the vet (not knowing how dangerous this was) and they gave him a shot of benadryl & a shot of steroids. Poor baby! He is sleeping now and hopefully the swelling will be gone soon. |

| oh poor baby. i hope he feels better now. Oscar had his rabies shot recently and he has a little bump there. I called my vet as soon as i noticed it. He asked me all kinds questions about how Oscar is feeling . Other than the bump he is perfectly fine so doc said that is a normal reaction to the needle. I have to keep an eye on it to make sure it is going away and not getting any bigger. |
