so doc said that is a normal reaction to the needle.

Yes, Missy had a bump on her neck after getting her rabies. My vet told me it's totally normal, as long as it doesn't get bigger and goes away within a month or so. And it did.
Gizmo is MUCH better. I noticed him getting back to normal a few hours after the injections. This morning he looks totally fine. Hooray!
