| For those planning on supplementing with coconut oil, make sure to purchase unrefined organic cold pressed coconut oil. I feed Artisana, which I purchase at Whole Foods. Nutiva, found here: https://store.nutiva.com/organic-coc...FSJgTAodfTGdSQ is also excellent.

| my yorkie was about 3 yo when she started having a similar problem, first was told not too worry, then that it was allergies. she eventually was treated for thyroid and was put on a home cooked diet. i choose to believe she found some level of comfort. She tried Atopica, which didn't really work. I don't believe it helps the immune system bit rather supresses it. Atopica is the canine version of what they give humans after an organ transplant to prevent rejection (by suppressing their immune system) Actually the canine version wasn't avaiable in canada at the time so i actually had to buy humane medicine at shoppers drug mart for my dog. i wish you all the best and hope you have a better outcome |

| @maxmyYorkie, as tem_sat already said you have to make sure to get the unrefined organic cold pressed coconut oil. I got mine at a local organic store. Freddy loves it. I give it to him like a treat just a small amount, he licks it right off the spoon. As i mentioned before, ever since i started giving it to him he hasn't had any issues with his skin. Hope it will help you as well... |
