as tem_sat already said you have to make sure to get the unrefined organic cold pressed coconut oil. I got mine at a local organic store. Freddy loves it. I give it to him like a treat just a small amount, he licks it right off the spoon. As i mentioned before, ever since i started giving it to him he hasn't had any issues with his skin.
