| Please keep Nilla and me in your prayers for tomorrow! I have to take Nilla bright and early to the veterinarian's tomorrow to get spayed, and she has to stay overnight. I'm nervous about it, I really hope she'll be okay, and I'm going to miss her being there at home to greet me and love on me / play with me!

| I'll bet she will be okay. I've had 2 dogs spayed, neutered and dentals every year for quite some time now and have thankfully never had a problem with their procedures or anesthesia, so hopefully your baby will be fine as so very few of them ever have any problems. One of mine was only 3 lbs. and she did fine with surgery of all kinds. Will be praying for Nilla.

| I brought the baby home today. She's sleeping now, I'm sure she had a rough night. I got her a cone because she was messing with her stitches in the car. I wish I had invested in a Kiss-E Cone because it looks so uncomfortable! I'm just happy to have her back, and the surgery went well.

| Is it normal for them to run around in circles and flop down on their butt/stomach trying to get to their stitches and whining constantly? I'm a worrier (really with Nilla), and she keeps flopping around and trying to jump and run which are two things that they said she should not be doing for 2 weeks, so she's driving me crazy! I just want to make sure I don't need to get her stitches checked out or make her get a check-up.

| She may be doing that, if she is in Pain. What pain meds did they send you home with? Riley was sent home with an e-collar and Rimadyl pills, for pain. My vet actually told me to give him the Rimadyl until they were finished...even if he did not seem like he needed them.... but my previous dog was never sent home with a collar or pain meds and he was a mess. |

| Yes, I have her some pain medicine, vetprofen 25 mg and the directions say 1/2 pill every 24 hours.. she's not due for another one again. I worry that she jumps around and I don't want her to hurt herself.
