Default Let's do it again....What Food are YOU Feeding and Why??

I know we have had a run down list before as to which food we are all feeding, but iI know many of you are like me, and switch it up ever so often.
I like TOTW (bison) and I'm also rotating with Nature's Domain--salmon meal and sweet potato (Costco sells) both are made by Diamond, and have really great ingredients for the money. We also have a Boxer, so we tend to buy foods that both dogs can eat, and I'm all about good ingredients, but I don't want to fork out an arm and a leg either!

So, what are you feeding and why do you love it?

Look forward to seeing what all your little babies are on!!

I have 2 on SD, hills prescription I/D and 2 on SD Ideal Balance..
1 has a fatty blood condition and needs a super low fat/protein diet, 1 has sensitive stomach issues, also needs to be on a low fat diet
the 2 that are on SD Ideal balance, they are on it because they like it and are doing well on it and Im tired of switching my dogs from one food to another because this issue or that issue and dont plan on changing ever again..

My Yorkie is on Purina HA because it's literally the only food (kibble or homecooked) that she hasn't totally crapped out on. She really can't eat meat/poultry/fish/excessive egg, etc.

My other pup is on Eukanuba Adult Maintenance because it is what he does well on (fiber seems to be an issue with him - he has to have more than most foods contain and probably just certain types).

Both foods were chosen by their vet based on the issues they were having and her clinical knowledge about what has worked historically for her patients. They were not chosen by any internet rating site, my opinions about ingredients, or reps at pet stores. If it was based on what I wanted, they would both eat SD Nature's Best or Ideal Balance.

I feed my boys Fromm Chicken a la Veg. After trying a few foods, this is the one I determined the boys do best eating.

Geno gets fed Wellness Puppy because that is what the breeder was feeding him before we took him home so we've been keeping with that. He is doing reall well with it so we will probably go into Wellness Adult for him next year.

We feed TOTW pacific stream. It is the best my Wheaten terrier has ever done. She has not thrown up or had diarrehea in almost a year- big change for a rather constant occurrence. I think the limited ingredients, probiotics and digestive enzymes? have a lot to do with it.
Ziva is so shiny and has never been sick. The new puppy stole some of their food first thing, so it's just a matter of switching her over too!

Gosh, I am glad someone started this thread. I am having the most problem with my two. Vet thinks Jack has allergies (enviromental). But because of the continue scratching she has ask me to try and switch foods. OMG they are so pickie as it is. I don't feel like they eat enough as it is. I feel like they only eat just enough to keep themselves from starving.
I have them on Ultra Holistic and am trying to switch to Taste of the wild which I think that is what they are picking out of he dish and placing on floor and not eating. I really can't tell which one it is cause they both almost look the same. I have started with just a couple of tablespoons added to their Ultra food.

They are really making my crazy cause I am not sure what foods next I should try or what to do.
I hate to think they are not getting satisfied with their eating. I know I can fix them human food, chicken, rice, carrots and grean beans and they will eat that up. But with Jack having allergies I can't do the chicken and I am sure the beef would not be good for them so what else do I do? Going nuts here?

Right now, he's on Castor & Pollux Organix. I've been very pleased with it in all aspects (palatability, poop, coat, skin, etc) however his eyes have been runny the past two weeks. He's been on the food for probably about five-ish weeks. I am not really sure if it's environmental or has something to do with the food (I highly doubt he has a problem w/ grains - some grainfree foods have caused him eye drainage, too) so I might do a little eliminating. Vet had mentioned something to me about chicken allergy so I am considering trying a California Natural formula with limited ingredients and no chicken and see if the eye goop stops. He never had much eye goop at all, practically none, on TOTW. I've just gotta be careful with his fat content now.

I feed Riley ACANA Kibble. Right now he is eating "Ranchlands".

I was feeding Primal raw in the mornings and the kibble, at night, but at the moment we are out of raw and I just haven't stopped by to get anymore.

I had wanted to switch to Wellness months ago so I had emailed wellness and asked about samples and they asked about Callie and what samples I was interested in and sent me some they recommended and then the ones I wanted to try. I put a few pieces of each on a paper plate with the name of the food on the bottom and we did two tests like this and both times she ate all of the Wellness core and licked the plate so I am feeding her wellness core right now.

After trying MANY foods, and contantly battling runny eyes, ichy skin, red ears, hot spots... etc. and to make matters more difficult her little GI system is so extremely sensitive. So after consulting with my vet we decided to put Taycie is on RX Royal Canin Rabbit and Potato.

This is the best food for her hands down. I am so pleased with it. She now is tear stain free! Her face looks so great right now. Her stomach handles it very well. So far so good. I won't be messing around with it anymore unless my vet decides to.

I am back in limbo again with Moses. After our $250 visit to the vet this morning due to possible bacteria infections in his tummy, I am thinking I am going to try Royal Canin. The vet has her dogs on it and says they do well on it. I have tried Science Diet (at the very beginning), Innova, Nutro, Fromms (which he wouldn't eat), TOTW, a sample of TOTW venison which he liked, and Lotus grain free duck. The vet suggested adding some canned food to his kibble, which I will do. He has runny eyes with the Lotus, and only ate it for a week or so, so that is a no go, won't touch Orijen, which is too high in protein anyway. The vet likes Blue Buffalo, but thinks it's too rich for Moses, who is 6.5 pounds. I am so tired of this game! I love reading others' suggestions and experiences. Once I find THE ONE, we are not switching!

We feed Nature's Variety. Our dogs do very well on it and don't get gas, which is a great thing. Our dogs had the most horrible gas on ALL foods we tried that were made by Diamond. It was unbearable. We have used Nature's Variety for over 2 years now and are very happy with it. We feed the Prairie kibble most of the time.
