I am back in limbo again with Moses. After our $250 visit to the vet this morning due to possible bacteria infections in his tummy, I am thinking I am going to try Royal Canin. The vet has her dogs on it and says they do well on it. I have tried Science Diet (at the very beginning), Innova, Nutro, Fromms (which he wouldn't eat), TOTW, a sample of TOTW venison which he liked, and Lotus grain free duck. The vet suggested adding some canned food to his kibble, which I will do. He has runny eyes with the Lotus, and only ate it for a week or so, so that is a no go, won't touch Orijen, which is too high in protein anyway. The vet likes Blue Buffalo, but thinks it's too rich for Moses, who is 6.5 pounds. I am so tired of this game! I love reading others' suggestions and experiences. Once I find THE ONE, we are not switching! |
