| ![]() Am a cancer patient and my sister just gave me a Yorkie, is well trained but he has to be tought a few things, like where to do his things and he has to get use to having his own sleeping quaters. I have a big yard and my mom loves to play with it but am affraid he might get too many bugs from my big patio, i live in Florida. I tell her that Yorkies are more of a home dog than a yard dog but she keeps treating him like if he was a German Sheppard and i keep telling her that they are a very sensitive kind of dogs. I just got him a few weeks ago and we are still trying to get use to each other. Sometimes i dont have the energy to play with with him and he gets fustrated. I would love some feed backs from you guys that have had this kind of dog for a while. Also when do they get their shots and how to take proper care of the dog. Thank you all and have a great year. Donating YT Addict | ![]() I agree with everyone when they say what works for one yorkie doesn't work for another. My Tyke is 6 1/2 yrs old, He wouldn't eat Wellness, tried Nature's Health for a year, he still had stomach issues, then changed him to Blue Buffalo, worked for awhile and then right before Christmas my daughter's vet told her he sees more dogs with GI problems and they are eating Blue buffalo. YIKES...lol He did start having problems with this food since last summer. His stomach gurgled all the time and he vomited still off and on sometimes. So the first of January he's been on Royal Canin Dry and some of their can food. I will say this, his skin is not dry anymore and his coat is shiny and not as dry anymore. So far this food seems to be agreeing with him better than any I've ever tried. So you just have to try what works. ![]()

| ![]() I feed my puppy simply nourish chicken and rice puppy food from petsmart. It is rated 5 stars on the dog food advisor website and its reasonably priced. My girls has a beautiful healthy, shiny coat and appears to enjoy her food. |
