| I have a thundershirt and it worked really well at first. Maybe I used it so many times that he got used to it. He hasn't worn it in a while, maybe it will help again. The night that I bought it and he wore it home, he was like a new dog. It helped a few times after that but then it got to where it didn't help him. I quit using it but I'll give it another try. At this point I'll try anything.

| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | We have to use Ace for Marcel when we fly - he just hates not sitting on our laps (the kids go under the seat). I can't recall his actual dose, but it shouldn't knock them out - but it really helps them calm down and often go to sleep or are much more likely to sleep (esp after about the 1st half hour).

| The Acepromazine did absolutely nothing for Buster. He screamed for about 7-8 hours until I finally put him in my lap. I gave him 1/8th of a tab before we left home, then another 1/8th about six hours later. He never let up on the screaming unless we stopped for gas, etc. I dread the trip back. I don't know if I can increase the dosage or if I should try something else. I thought he would give up after a while but he seemed to get louder. Any suggestions?
