I have a thundershirt and it worked really well at first. Maybe I used it so many times that he got used to it. He hasn't worn it in a while, maybe it will help again. The night that I bought it and he wore it home, he was like a new dog. It helped a few times after that but then it got to where it didn't help him. I quit using it but I'll give it another try. At this point I'll try anything.

We have to use Ace for Marcel when we fly - he just hates not sitting on our laps (the kids go under the seat). I can't recall his actual dose, but it shouldn't knock them out - but it really helps them calm down and often go to sleep or are much more likely to sleep (esp after about the 1st half hour).

The Acepromazine did absolutely nothing for Buster. He screamed for about
7-8 hours until I finally put him in my lap. I gave him 1/8th of a tab before we left home, then another 1/8th about six hours later. He never let up on the screaming unless we stopped for gas, etc. I dread the trip back. I don't know if I can increase the dosage or if I should try something else. I thought he would give up after a while but he seemed to get louder. Any suggestions?
