Donating YT 30K Club Member | My Cali has been on Atopica for years and has done really well on it. I have been able to get her to one pill every 2-3 days instead of daily with no scratching. I went through all the food elimination diets and the expensive blood allergy testing and nothing showed up. So it really didn't help anyway. Hopefully he will soon be itch free.

| Thanks for updating after your vet visit. I hope your little guy is feeling better with the treatment from the vet. We have used a holistic remedy that mimics hydrocortisone when our boy had a really bad itchy phase with seasonal allergies. I don't have experience with any of the other treatments but I hope they work for your pup. Hoping for a good update soon. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | My Princess Chloe started scratching and I took her to the derm.vet and they placed her on an elimination diet, and gave her temaril-P for a short period of time. It could be food allergy or environmental (pollen and other things). Your vet. will be able to determine what's causing the scratching. Good luck! P.S. there is a group on Yahoo call ALLERDOG, where dog owners with dogs who have allergies exchange advise and information on different allergies. Naomi & Princess Chloe |
