| Previous Innova Users As most of you know, Innova was bought out by P & G. Well, I've had hell trying to find a food that Gizmo loved as much as his Innova. But, I think I've found it. I bought him, on a whim because I use to feed my Cairn's it, is Wellness Small Breed Complete Puppy (since he's only 7 months) but they also make a small breed adult dog. The has a 5 out of 6 stars from dog food reviews. Knock on wood, hopefully he'll love it again tomorrow for breakfest. But I figured I might as well share my success with others who are still pissed about Innova switching and trying to switch their babies over.

| Sounds like they changed to Menadione as the vitamin K source. Menadione is cheaper than higher quality vitamin K and some manufacturers use it for that reason. Most pet owners that are very food conscious refuse to use any food containing menadione. You can find a lot of info about it on the internet. |

Innova Puppy Dry Puppy Food I'm not trying to be argumentative, I just don't see those ingredients listed anywhere, and I would hate for people to switch foods, especially if their dogs like the innova or happen to be picky, over something that's might not be true or accurate.

| Thanks for your comments. I don't see those ingredients either. I haven't switched from Innova either because my animal likes it and she is picky. I don't know yet what I will be feeding my puppy when I get him however. |

| Keep a eye on it. Legally, they have a year and a half before they are required to change their labeling. |

| I had my bichon on innova because she loved it so much. However I pulled out some vet records and I noticed that she has gain 2 pounds since I switched her from merrick to innova. I am taking her off innova but she's not happy about it. I am trying halo right now but will go back to merrick if I need to. |

| I used the canned Innova but quit it and went to Fromm's. Too bad because my little Kinder loved it but now she is happy with Fromms. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I switched my last dog that I had on Innova recently, he is a VERY picky eater and I did not want to have him suffer by switching him to NV,when P & G , bought it, I still kept him in until last month, when he started muching on NV from his dad's bowl, so happy days now he joined the rest of the gang and he is doing well so far.. I can't tell you what it was but he stoped loving Innova the way he used too... he ate it since he was a puppy he is 2 now.. |
