| Thanks everyone for the advice. Going to try these few things over the next few days and see what happens. |

| I give Kayla 1tsp. of children's bendyrl in bubble gum flavor and she does pretty good with it. I also give it to her in a syringe instead of a tsp. I give Dudley and 1/4 tsp. because he is so tiny. Good luck, I know its terrible to see them scratching constantly. |

You've already received such great advice but wanted to at least say hello and welcome! I hope your little baby gets to feeling better soon! We had a lab who suffered from allergies. She now lives up north with some of our family because she couldn't handle the allergens here in Houston. She does much better in their environment. It broke our hearts to let her go... not that that will be the case for you... just trapsing down memory lane. ![]() Let us know how she is doing!!!

| I give Rosie benadryl occasionally for allergies. My vet only suggests childrens liquid. I am not sure why. But this is the same vet that says no to Zyrtec while other vets say it is ok. The problem is they tell me that Benadryl has a very short lasting effect. As a last resort, he will give a shot for allergies. You might try a limited ingredient diet if it is allergies. Believe it or not, Rosie has allergies toward grass. Lol. I am the only person in the world to get a dog allergic to grass. Another problem we have had is chiggers. Yes, dogs can get chigger bites. Good luck in solving the problem. Let us know how it goes. And welcome to YorkieTalk!
