| Food - an issue again Rosie has been happily eating Chicken flavored instinct. Both can and dry. I take the dry and mix it in with the can. About a week ago, I noticed she was not eating. I would throw the food out and try again at the next meal. I noticed that I had picked up the wrong flavor of food. I had gotten turkey and duck in the dry food. Thinking that was the problem, I went back and got some chicken flavor. However, she still will not eat the mixture. But will eat the can dog food. Why is she doing this now after eating it for months? Any suggestions?

| Ah, I have this same issue. Ok, turkey/duck was a no go (I think that's their grain-free Instinct line), how about trying their salmon, beef, or venison for a change. The other thing could be since he didn't like the turkey and duck, that he thinks that's what you're still giving him (sounds crazy, I know, but they are like this I've come to learn). See if you can get him to eat a piece of the chicken kibble by mixing it with the canned or use a piece of it as a "treat" to kind of trick him into tasteing it and realizing that it's the chicken now that he liked. If he still won't you may have to change it up with another "flavor" (I have to rotate Alice every two days - I keep two different bags of their Prairie kibble on hand and switch it up with raw and canned too, luckily NV is made to be able to do that and they have a lot of flavors).

Yorkie Talker | Picker Eaters I've finally found a pet food that my Abby will eat. I was doing home cooking It's called Fresh Pet and it can be found at Pet Smart. It's a fresh food in their refrigerator they supply. Penny loves it too. I serve it with Epigen on the top, which is made by Wysong, special dried food. The Fresh Pet says it is gently cook to keep in all the vitamins. My girls love the Bison, Beef and liver. They have fresh berries and veggies mixed in it. Kind of pricy but worth it Just a suggestion to all that have picky eaters Abby and Penny's Momma |

| I saw that Fresh Pet stuff in our grocery store. I think Food Lion or Safeway -- was going to buy some next time I go! It looked good.

| hmmmm..... I am going by a PetSmart, tonight. Will see if they have the Pet Fresh and check it out. Nature's Variety does the HPP [High Pressure Pasteurization] on their foods... to lightly squeeze the bacteria out. |
