The other thing could be since he didn't like the turkey and duck, that he thinks that's what you're still giving him (sounds crazy, I know, but they are like this I've come to learn). See if you can get him to eat a piece of the chicken kibble by mixing it with the canned or use a piece of it as a "treat" to kind of trick him into tasteing it and realizing that it's the chicken now that he liked. If he still won't you may have to change it up with another "flavor" (I have to rotate Alice every two days - I keep two different bags of their Prairie kibble on hand and switch it up with raw and canned too, luckily NV is made to be able to do that and they have a lot of flavors).
